One the WORST Airlines - for now .....
Treating us passengers (their paying customers) as "inmates" / prisoners on the ground as well as inflight: * requested specifically for AISLE seat but was given MIDDLE. Reminded a few times but the counter male staff kept saying yes yes or rather did NOT CARE… See more or bother at all... * the 2 Male cabin crew were like prison wardens: BRUTE, NO COURTESY, did not bother to say EXCUSE ME etc etc

Terrible customer service
I have flown with this airline many years ago, and it was nothing impressive but not too shabby. However, I'm trying to book a ticket now and once I put in all passport details on their official website uzairways .com, the confirmation states the first name as… See more last and last name as first. So I didn't book the ticket and called their London office instead. The person I spoke to said "Come to the point - you have made a mistake when booking". I was shocked at this as I used to work on creating User Interfaces for websites and know that websites can have these type of mistakes, and it is up to the customer service representatives to report these. I told him that I haven't booked the ticket yet, however want to make sure the details are recorded correctly by the website because airlines have been known to deny boarding if names are wrong. I told him tha he could go to the website himself and check what happens at the confirmation page before paying. He said he has a different system so doesn't want to do that. I asked him if he wanted to note this to report it. He said no, there is nothing wrong with the website. His manner was very offish, and quite rude. If this is how they deal with customers even before a ticket sale, they probably will care even less about any issues once they have the money. I'm looking at alternative, more reliable airlines now, even if it means a non-direct flight.

Every second passenger is checking in cargo size luggage- tv’s, furniture etc and it takes long time to check in or to receive your luggage. Wifi on board isn’t working. Few entertainment games are just for small children including a game where you need to… See more kill the cats. Main course food and snacks are all with meat. Safety instructions are played on tv like a long fairy tale movie and it wont explain safety measures properly. Could find air fan button above the seat. tickets are unreasonably expensive so visit the country for few days will not worth it its best to buy all inclusive spain\turkey holiday for only the uzb airline ticket price.

Cabin crew totally unconcerned about safety
The toddler seated(!) in front of me stood and jumped around on the seat... including during take off and landing; the Ukbek woman seated next to me leant across me to talk through the seat gap with the person in front of her (presumably the toddler's mother)… See more - neither woman wore a seat belt at any time during the flight and trays were left down during take off and landing. The cabin crew paid absolutely no attention. I dread to think what could have happened to the child had we hit bad turbulence at any point.

the usual airline but with a perk
Actually I tested both version of Uzbek Airlinse - the discounter and the major. Major which is Uzbekistan Airlines itself which is the usual modern airline with a nice crew and good airfleet. I was really impressed by the usual air safety presentaion they do.… See more It is done in the form of video which is the best I have ever seen. My Oscar goes to the creators of this video. The only thing they need to work on is a list of movies which is very limited. The discounter is Uzbekistan Express also has a nice crew and modern airfleet. There is almost no services and no food provided although my ticket cost roughly the same as for major airline.

First Time flying to Europe with Uzbekistan Airways Dec2017

First of all I found this airlines… See more through skyscaner and is very cheap the ticket was 21,000THB for 2 ways flight, until I book it and so excited to travel, is hard to find the review or information about this airlines. the day has come on my departure day is 22Dec2017 the check in counter at BKK Airport went well. from BKK-TAS there is just about 100 of passenger on board. I'm little upset that there is no In-flight Entertainment No Charger cause it was a B767 with is very old aircraft but that's not the point. The main point is I worry most is about Food and Beverages. I don't if this is a Full-Service airline for Low-cost one. Until the flight attendant serve Hot meal and Drinks I'm very happy that at least they have food service and drinks. the flight attendant on mil flight seems like they look not enjoy and they service like a Slow Life and so chill HAHAHA. about 6 hour of traveling I've got nothing to do and it was my fist time for me to travel with them, so there is no Pillow and Blanket and I don't know if I can request or asking for another drinks and food. but everything is good as fine HAHA. What I like the most Is the Food very delicious and the seat is little bit dirty but all is good, Service is... Baggage Allowance 20KG Seat is free Hot meal is Free Aircraft Boeing 767 Very old one but good. Stay tune for the Second flight from TAS-DME Thank you
