About Tandem Aero
Tandem Aero was a privately operated Moldovan airline established in 1998 and headquartered in Chișinău. It used the IATA code TQ and ICAO code TDM, and its activities included scheduled passenger services, charter flights and operations performed under contract for other carriers. The airline remained a small operator throughout its history rather than developing into a large national network carrier.
Chișinău International Airport was Tandem Aero's principal base. Its best-documented scheduled routes connected the Moldovan capital with Tel Aviv, while earlier regional services operated for Air Moldova linked Chișinău with Bucharest, Kyiv and Sochi.
