Sky Airline is a privately owned Chilean low-cost carrier founded in 2001, with commercial operations beginning the following year. Thieves
Awful, I paid for a carry-on bag, and because the wheel didn’t fit in their box, they charged an extra $40 dollars, unbelievable! This same bag fits in Latams box just fine. Their employees were also so rude, avoid this airline if you can.

Disgusting Service – No customer service skills whatsoever
We wanted to purchase carry on bags online for $27 each but the website was not working. We went to the airport expecting them to assist us but the employee laughed and said it’s $40 each at the airport. We explained that the website didn’t work and we… See more intended to purchase the carry on luggage at the airport but for the price listed online, however they refused to listen and did not give us the website price even though it isn’t our fault their site does not work. We were forced to pay $40 each for this 30 minute flight. All 3 of the staff we dealt with was disgusting, unreasonable, and treated us like cows. Horrible service, never again with Sky. For the rest of our trip we went with Avianca, Copa, Latam, and Aeroméxico — Sky was the worst by far. I experienced my 200th flight in my life on this trip and never have I seen such unacceptable service. Please avoid this airline. Thank you for the eye opener, Sky.

Worst airline ever!!!!!! All our flights were rescheduled to very inconvenient times, and when we tried to get a refund for our tickets (which we were entitled to according to the airline's policy), we only got refunded 14% of what we paid! Do not fly with Sky Air
I flew from Cusco to Lima. The staffs at the gate had me measure my carry on at their gate. My carry on was able to go through the slot but it got stuck from the handle that attached in the middle luggage. They made me pay $36 for a carry on that I already… See more paid for!! They were so rude and mean and threaten not to let us board the flight if we don’t pay. I WILL NEVER IN MT LIFE TIME AGAIN FLY WITH THIS CHEAP AIRLINE!! Worst experience ever
Do not fly Sky. We had an 8am flight to Cusco , waited 2 hours on the line and when we reached the counter we were told the flight had been delayed 5 hours but they could not guarantee we could fly. The employees were not even motivated to help the passengers,… See more they did not even care to inform anyone doing the line that the flight was delayed. Their lack of empathy was even worse than the fact the flight was delayed. We never received an email or a text message informing us about the delay. We ended up buying new tickets with Latam.

We had no problems with this airline!
Despite all negative reviews for Sky Airline, we had no problems with them at all. We flew from Miami to Lima and back and both ways we had no issues. We booked the light fare and we had only one piece of luggage. They only looked at it to make sure we didn't… See more have anything else and let us go without checking if it fit in their measurements. I assure you, the backpacks were slightly bigger then allowed and we were nervous, but they had no problem with that. The check in process was smooth both in Miami and in Lima. The flights on time. The service on the airplane is minimal, but that was to be expected. We were surprised that on the way back from Lima they did not allow us to bring any water bottles with us. Considering they don't give you free water on the plane it was disappointing, but they made it sound that it was the US policy and not theirs. Not sure about that. We also flew on domestic flight from Cusco to Lima and it went perfect. They check you in automatically. Also we had to make changes to our original flights and we did it all online without issues. Only thing was that they charged for price difference when I saw on the website that there wasn't any difference, but oh, what can you do. Overall we had good experience with Sky and would fly with them again.
