Panorama Airways

Panorama Airways, identified by IATA code 5P and ICAO code PCP, was a Chilean scheduled airline legally registered as PAL Airlines. The carrier was founded in 2003 and developed as a privately owned domestic operator. Its public identity was closely associated with the PAL name and the Spanish-language website palair.cl.

Santiago was the airline’s primary hub and the leading departure point in its network. Panorama Airways served 5 destinations across Chile, operating 14 routes linking the capital with Antofagasta, Iquique, Calama and Copiapo. These services concentrated on important commercial and mining centres in the country’s northern regions rather than international markets.

The aircraft types associated with Panorama Airways were the Boeing 737 and, more specifically, the Boeing 737-200. This older narrow-body family was suited to domestic sectors and airports throughout Chile. The airline offered a straightforward scheduled product, with cabin arrangements and service provisions varying by aircraft and fare; travellers should not expect the extensive range of classes found on large international carriers.

Panorama Airways was not a member of Star Alliance, SkyTeam or Oneworld.
