Qanot Sharq is a privately owned Uzbek airline founded in 1998. It initially operated cargo services using leased aircraft before suspending operations in the early 2010s. The company was subsequently reorganized and relaunched scheduled passenger flights in 2021, retaining its Uzbek name, which translates approximately as Eastern Wings. It operates under the IATA code HH and ICAO code QNT.
The airline's primary hub is Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport, Uzbekistan's principal international gateway. From Tashkent, Qanot Sharq serves destinations across Central Asia, Europe, East Asia, the Middle East and popular Asian leisure markets. Its network includes major cities such as Istanbul, Dubai, Frankfurt, London, Moscow, Seoul and Beijing, although individual routes and frequencies can vary considerably by season.
Qanot Sharq operates an all-Airbus fleet built around the A320 family and the larger A330-200. Its narrow-body aircraft include A320ceo and long-range A321neo variants, including the A321LR and A321XLR, while the wide-body A330 supports longer and higher-demand services.
