About HiSky Europe
HiSky Europe is a Romanian airline established in 2020 as part of the wider HiSky aviation group, which also includes a Moldovan operator. The carrier trades under the HiSky name and serves both scheduled passengers and charter customers. Its business model combines competitively priced fares with selected features more commonly associated with traditional network airlines.
Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport is HiSky Europe’s primary hub, while Cluj-Napoca is another important departure point. Its network links Romania with cities across Western and Southern Europe, alongside services to the Middle East. HiSky has also expanded into long-haul flying, including a nonstop connection between Bucharest and New York, and operates leisure routes for tour operators.
The airline primarily uses Airbus aircraft. Its narrow-body fleet includes members of the A320 family, which are suited to domestic, regional and medium-haul services, while the Airbus A330-200 supports long-haul operations. Most short-haul aircraft have a single economy-class cabin, whereas long-haul services offer economy seating and a business-class product. HiSky Europe is not a member of Star Alliance, SkyTeam or Oneworld. The carrier offers HiSky Club, a loyalty programme through which eligible passengers can earn points and access programme benefits. Travellers connecting to flights operated by unrelated airlines should not assume alliance-style through-ticketing, baggage transfers or reciprocal lounge access unless these services are explicitly included in their booking.
