About Yeti Airlines
Yeti Airlines is a privately owned Nepalese carrier founded in 1998. It began operations with small turboprop aircraft suited to Nepal’s short sectors and demanding airport environments, later developing into one of the country’s principal domestic airlines. Its identity is closely associated with connecting Kathmandu to regional cities, business centres and popular tourism gateways across Nepal.
Kathmandu is the airline’s primary hub and the centre of its 18-route domestic network. Yeti Airlines serves 10 destinations within Nepal, including Bhadrapur, Bhairawa, Bharatpur, Biratnagar, Dhangadhi, Janakpur, Nepalganj, Pokhara and Tumlingtar. Constant Flight Delays
As my airline of choice I’m a regular on Yeti Airlines however this is about to change. The constant delays and the feeble excuses for it are driving me mad. This needs to be addressed asap as my tolerance level is running dry!!

Not reliable at all, last moment they denay the schedules
I planned my travel for visiting Kathmandu with my Parents and kids, but 1 day befor I got alert on mail that both inbound and out bound flights are suspended. we made all hotel and vehicle bookings in advanced based on our Flight tickets, but due to… See more cancelling of flight by Yeti Aerlines without providing or supporting alternatives has really forced us to raise question on its reliability.

Flight Delayed and No Proper Information Provided.
Flight delayed for two hours while passengers were already on plane. It was too hot and the clear information we're not provided to the passengers.

Full Flight
Flight was 100% full from Pokhara to KTM which made for very cramped conditions especially for anyone over 6' and they were not allowing use of overhead space. Fortunately it is a short flight. On plus side airline did require masks and provided face shields… See more before boarding flight.

Much Better than BUDDHA Air
Everything went very smooth, from ticket purchase to check-in to boarding. Pilot's Announcement was another pleasant surprise. Over-all it was a nice experience. Bravo Captain Chand !!

Always late, quaint and scenic!
We have flown Yeti dozens of times. Your choices are limited and we have found Yeti better than Buddha or Royal Nepali and Yeti also flies to the smaller airports. We have been delayed more than on time. This is due to the volume of traffic in and out of the… See more high altitude airport at Kathmandu and is beyond Yeti's control. Usually fly on a worn gulf stream turbo-prop that seats about 35 and is clean enough. All flights have been uneventful. Get a window seat on the North facing side of the plane for an incredible view of Anapurna range and the surrounding Himalayas. Getting off the bus that transfers you from the gate to the plane is the key. Try to be towards the last on the bus and at the door of the bus to be first off and on the ramp to the plane to get a North facing window seat. You watch them manually load your bag or backpack onto the plane. This is what flying was like 80 years ago. Flights are all short. Nepalgunj is 50 minutes. Butwal is 38 minutes. Seats are tight. You will pay 3 times what a Nepali or Indian will pay. This is aggravating but part of getting around in Nepal. We experience this all over India as an acceptable practice. Should we begin charging Indian nationals three times the entry fees and airfares in the West? Namaste.
