Buddha Air is a privately owned Nepalese scheduled airline founded in 1996, with commercial operations beginning in 1997. The carrier is based in Nepal and uses the IATA code U4 and ICAO code BHA. It has developed its identity around short domestic links, connecting the capital with regional cities and gateways serving Nepal's plains, hill regions and major tourism areas. I want to complain for this company! I am resident of India, i have permanent aadhar card & pan card, not yet passport. But 10 days ago i have a flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu and use aadhar for registration. Its was not any questions & any problem. But… See more today i wish take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara back, i planed my trip, fligt was at 9:10, 11am was booked jeep from Pokhara to Jomsom. But you workers do not register me to flight!!!! Why?!!!! If its not allowed - why i go from Pokhara??? I am resident of India now, i pay taxes. Your company broken my hollydays, i wish you to be bankrupt as soon as possible with like you care like that about clients.

Bad airline service
Apparently rescheduling is now available via their app however found no such option. Upon connecting with the multiple times on different number finally someone helped to manual reschedule it. The reschedule payment link dint work after multiple retries.… See more Finally I requested a refund on my non refundable flight and had to point out the fact that I have been trying for more than 3 hours at which point they finally agreed to reschedule it for me. Overall felt the airline needs to provide more details on how to help the customers, introduce multiple options for international payments and in general increase staff awareness so that passengers are not left to fend for themselves.

Good flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara
The road from Kathmandu to Pokhara is often blocked by landslides and rockfalls during the monsoon season and in 2022 has been blocked several times. All… See more airlines in Nepal charge foreigners a higher fare than the locals and even if you are the only foreigner on a plane, you are paying over US$20 extra than all those sitting around you. Buddha Air is the biggest domestic service and I found them to be very well organised and both flights were good. Basically you take off, climb for about 5 minutes, level out for 5 minutes then descend and land. Buddha Air has built a new domestic terminal at Kathmandu airport which is clean with plenty of seating. You are then taken on a bus out to the plane and off you go. The plane was clean – an ATR72 twin engine turboprop short haul plane developed and produce in France and Italy which can carry between 72 and 78 passengers. Pokhara is a delight to land at – clean, spacious, surrounded by huge mountains with the beautiful Phewa Tal Lake in the centre, but very humid and hot during the monsoon. Can highly recommend Buddha Air – they seem to be well organised and both flights were good.

Nice aircraft but bad in terms of service
Nice aircraft but bad in terms of service from staff ...one lady was good but other had not good in term of smile and approach. food and beverage items have be better like Nepal airline have soft drinks option, both wait and dry napkin etc.
