About Tunisair
Tunisair is Tunisia’s national airline and flag carrier. Founded in 1948 as the Société Tunisienne de l’Air, it began operations the following year and developed into the country’s principal scheduled international carrier. The Tunisian state remains its controlling shareholder. The airline uses the IATA code TU and ICAO code TAR, and its visual identity is closely associated with Tunisia’s gazelle emblem.
