About Nouvelair
Nouvelair is a privately owned Tunisian airline founded in 1989 as Air Liberté Tunisie, initially serving as the Tunisian charter affiliate of France’s Air Liberté. Operations began in 1990, and the carrier subsequently adopted the Nouvelair identity. Although its roots are in holiday charter flying, it now operates scheduled passenger services alongside leisure-oriented flights and remains closely associated with Tunisia’s tourism sector.
