About STARLUX Airlines
STARLUX Airlines is a Taiwanese scheduled carrier founded in 2018 by aviation executive Chang Kuo-wei and launched passenger operations in January 2020. Its legal corporate identity is STARLUX Airlines Co., Ltd., and its headquarters are in Taipei, Taiwan. The airline uses the IATA code JX and ICAO code SJX. It has positioned itself as a full-service operator with particular emphasis on cabin design, hospitality and premium international travel.
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport is STARLUX Airlines’ primary hub and the centre of its connecting network. The airline serves major cities in Japan, Southeast Asia, Macau and the Philippines, alongside an expanding selection of North American gateways. Taipei is therefore the usual connecting point for passengers travelling between regional Asian markets and the United States.
