Myway Airlines
A Sri Lankan scheduled carrier legally identified as Mihin Lanka, operating regional routes from Colombo with an Airbus fleet.
About Myway Airlines
Myway Airlines is the directory name associated here with Mihin Lanka, a Sri Lankan carrier founded in 2006. Mihin Lanka was established as a state-owned airline and developed a value-oriented identity focused on affordable regional travel. It used the IATA code MJ and ICAO code MLR, distinguishing its operations from those of Sri Lanka’s larger flag carrier, SriLankan Airlines.
Colombo was the airline’s primary hub and the centre of a network spanning 22 destinations in 12 countries over 46 routes. Services linked Sri Lanka with major commercial, leisure and pilgrimage markets across South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Gulf. Important cities included Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait City, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Dhaka, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi and Tiruchirappalli.
Aircraft types associated with its operations include the Airbus A320, A321, A330 and A340 families. The narrow-body A320 and A321 were suited to the carrier’s short- and medium-haul regional network, while the listed wide-body types offered greater capacity. As a value-focused operator, the onboard proposition was generally simpler than that of a conventional full-service airline, with inclusions depending on the fare and route.
Mihin Lanka was not a member of Star Alliance, SkyTeam or Oneworld. Travellers therefore did not receive the broad reciprocal lounge, status and mileage benefits offered by a global alliance. No independently branded frequent-flyer programme can be stated with sufficient confidence, so passengers should confirm whether any partner benefits or mileage arrangements apply to a particular booking before purchase.
The network’s principal strength was its direct access from Colombo to useful regional markets, including several cities with strong family, business and religious travel demand. Its comparatively small scale was also a challenge because schedules, rebooking options and replacement capacity could be more limited than with larger airlines. Mihin Lanka ceased independent operations in 2016, so references to its routes and fleet describe its historical network rather than a currently bookable airline service.

Flying with Myway Airlines — what to expect
Historical Airline
Mihin Lanka ceased independent operations in 2016. Travellers encountering its name or MJ code in older schedules should look for current alternatives rather than expect a bookable Myway Airlines service.
Colombo Hub
Colombo was the main connecting point, with Dubai, Singapore, Tiruchirappalli and Abu Dhabi also prominent departure cities in the network.
Regional Route Focus
The network concentrated on South Asia, Southeast Asia and Gulf destinations, serving a mix of business, leisure, family and pilgrimage traffic.
Check Fare Inclusions
The airline followed a value-oriented model, so baggage, meals and other services could vary by fare or route. Historical tickets and archived listings should be checked carefully before making comparisons.
Limited Alliance Benefits
The carrier did not belong to a major global airline alliance. Travellers should not assume reciprocal lounge access, status recognition or mileage credit.

Flight was cancelled by airline and no money back.
My flight was cancelled by airline month in advance the flight. And no any moneyback. For any questions "when money will be refunded" they are playing in stupid guys and saying "we don't know, once it will be refunded, now there are so many requests that we… See more don't know".

Fligths cancelled by company, totally ignoring emails, not possible to communicate in any form.
Our fligths on june were cancelled by company, and from the cancellation time was not possible to reach company in any way, all telephones disconnected, no answers to any mails except automatic reply, and also month after no answers. Only option is send mail… See more to rebook and pay tickets difference even without any obligation that fligths will be avaliable and what regulationas will be on this time. Company doesn't follow law regulations to refund money in period, that defined by law. Reccomend to think very good before dealing with company, you will not get your money back
