Good experience overall
It is quite cheap from such a long distance from Daxing to Zhalantun. The food was quite good for the price. The special in-cabin decoration with Hebei character was impressive. Hangzhou to Singapore
Took this flight coz I wanted to be back earlier for some work. Its actually not to bad if you are not a demanding person or dont have high expectations. The Checkin- The counter opens 2 hours before departure and it is pretty chaotic because of all the locals… See more rushing through. The flight boarded on time but departed an hour late. The plane is filled with locals. Luckily the crew can speak bits of English. The food is lousy and small. The only thing I survived was on water. The toilets are not cleaned during flight so prepare to see doom. The restaurants at the airport is not up and running when this flight departs so you cannot fuel up on food. Only coffee is available so bring your own food.

Short flight
The flight NS3201 from Shijiazhuang to Zhangjiakou took off just on time and landed earlier than scheduled, which surprised me a lot. But there's no meal service onboard but a pack of nuts, because it's a short flight, which only flew 45min. The luggage claim… See more service in Zhangjiakou Airport was awesome. This was probably the worst flight I ever had. I did not find the flight in any of the usual websites like Skyscanner etc. But in their all Chinese homepage I could make out Shijizhuang to Bkk. Check in and immigration were a little bit complicated. The staff… See more did not really seem to know how to handle my passport, visa etc. After a while I managed to get the boarding pass and an aisle seat. Immigration the same. Short conference between all the officers. Then everything was ok. The seat distance was very narrow. After seating I was asked by the stewardess if I would like to change my seat. I answered as long as the other seat is also an aisle seat I don't mind. She told me it is a middle seat. So I said no. Ten minutes later she came back . You have to move. The other person is a doctor and needs to sit here. Yes 3 people in their 30s. They needed medical assistance. The assistance was nothing but chatting. I should mention that I was the only non Chinese on that flight. So discrimination also exist in China.

Check inn was easy. The seat distance was very small and the seats did bot please me at all. The food was acceptable. The plane was clean. The crew was friendly and their communication skills were acceptable. Plane was on time.

The aircraft was brand new, clean, and all flight attendants were helpful. No dinner , except drinks ( water, tea, coffee, juice, soft drink), was provided on short flight.
