Palau

Palau is an archipelago of roughly 340 islands scattered across the western Pacific, where the ocean shifts between shades of cobalt and pale turquoise depending on depth and reef below. The islands are largely forested limestone and volcanic rock, ringed by some of the most intact coral ecosystems remaining in the Pacific. Life here moves at a pace dictated by tides and fishing boats rather than traffic and commerce.
