Grenada

Grenada is a small volcanic island in the southeastern Caribbean, where nutmeg trees scent the air and rainforest-covered ridges drop steeply to reef-fringed coastlines. It moves at a deliberate pace — fishing boats still pull in at dawn, and spice cultivation remains woven into everyday rural life.

About Grenada

Overview

Grenada sits at the southern end of the Windward Islands, roughly 160 kilometres north of Trinidad. The country encompasses the main island plus smaller Carriacou and Petite Martinique. St. George's is the capital, known for its horseshoe harbour and Georgian-era warehouses. English is the official language and the Eastern Caribbean dollar is the currency, shared with several neighbouring island states.
