Efficient and simple flight.
Flew from Brisbane to Sydney on the final leg home. You get what you pay for with an airline like this. Compared to the other Australian airlines, this is not bad at all. The flight was on time and efficient. They don’t generally have in flight entertainment… See more and most of the food and beverages are an extra charge. Overall, I couldn’t fault the flight.

Canceled Again
Virgin Australia used to be a good airline but I would not recommend it now. They seem to cancel flights if not full. Our recent flight Sydney to Hobart was cancelled. It was the last flight to Hobart the excuse given was forecast high winds. Judging by the… See more line up at the “service” desk the plane was only about half full. There were winds, but aircraft were leaving Sydney and others landing in Hobart including other VA flights. The only cancelled flight was ours. All the canceled passengers were forced to find overnight accommodation at the last minute with no compensation from Virgin. Just very poor customer service. Avoid if you possibly can.

Good Flight
This was the second leg of a Sydney to Townsville flight. Although a different plane to the first leg, the crew were the same, they changed planes with us at Brisbane. A good flight as usual.

Another Virgin debacle
Struggling with Virgin Australia. Currently delayed an hour and no credible information or updates. Blaming catering??? Not good enough Virgin Australia.

Disgusting
Upgraded to Business Class only to encounter excessive toilet traffic and frequent repulsive toilet stench. Still had toilet stench caked into my nasal passages when I arrived home. Makes me sick recalling it.

Cancelled seat for no reason
On my recent flight to and from Indonesia I booked seats with extra leg room as I was traveling with my 6’4” son. Several days into the trip I was notified that my seat for the return flight had been cancelled and refunded. No reason given. I was put in a seat… See more with a stranger at the back of the aircraft. The seat next to my son remained empty for the whole flight! I will try to avoid flying Virgin internationally ever again.
