About UIA
Ukraine International Airlines, commonly known as UIA, was founded in 1992 and developed into Ukraine’s principal international carrier. It was privately owned during its later operating years and used the airline codes PS and AUI. Although the input identifies Pacific Southwest Airlines as the legal name, UIA’s established identity is Ukraine International Airlines, a Ukrainian carrier. Its scheduled passenger operations have remained suspended since Ukraine closed its airspace to civilian flights in February 2022.
