Tajik Air

Tajik Air is a state-owned airline headquartered in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Its origins date to 1924, when aviation services began in the Tajik Soviet republic, giving the carrier one of Central Asia’s longest institutional histories. It later developed into Tajikistan’s national airline following the country’s independence. The company has operated scheduled passenger services under the Tajik Air name, using the IATA code 7J and ICAO code TJK.

Dushanbe is Tajik Air’s primary hub and the centre of its network, while Khujand is another important departure point. The airline serves 16 destinations across 10 countries through 40 routes. Its network is oriented toward regional and migrant-travel markets, particularly links with Russia, alongside services to cities in Central Asia, the Caucasus, South Asia and Turkey. Notable destinations include Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Sochi, Almaty, Baku, Islamabad, Istanbul and New Delhi.
