Serene Air
SereneAir is a privately owned Pakistani carrier operating domestic and regional international services with Boeing 737 and Airbus A330 aircraft.
About Serene Air
SereneAir is a privately owned Pakistani airline founded in 2016 and launched scheduled passenger operations in January 2017. It trades as SereneAir and uses the IATA code ER. The airline established itself as an alternative to Pakistan’s larger incumbent carriers, focusing on straightforward scheduled service rather than membership in a wider airline group.
Islamabad is SereneAir’s principal hub, while Karachi also serves as an important operating base. Its network has centered on major Pakistani cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta, together with selected routes to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. International schedules can change in response to demand, regulatory approvals and seasonal travel patterns.
The fleet has included Boeing 737-800 narrow-body aircraft and Airbus A330-200 wide-body aircraft. The 737s are primarily suited to domestic and shorter regional sectors, while the A330 provides greater capacity for busier international services. Cabin layouts and service details vary by aircraft, route and fare, so travellers should review the conditions attached to their booking.
SereneAir does not belong to Star Alliance, SkyTeam or Oneworld. It mainly sells and operates flights under its own brand rather than through an extensive global partner network. The carrier is not widely associated with a conventional points-based frequent-flyer programme, meaning travellers should not assume that flights will earn transferable airline miles or alliance benefits.
A practical strength is the airline’s coverage of several important Pakistani domestic markets, with regional services offering additional options for family, business and religious travel. The main challenge is that schedules and international routes may be less extensive or stable than those of larger network airlines. Passengers should reconfirm flight times, baggage entitlements and entry requirements close to departure.
Good to know
Flying with Serene Air — what to expect
Check Your Baggage
Baggage entitlements can differ by fare, route and cabin. Confirm both checked and cabin baggage allowances on your ticket before travelling.
Reconfirm Flight Times
Schedules, particularly on regional international routes, can change. Check the airline’s latest flight information and your contact details shortly before departure.
Aircraft May Vary
SereneAir has operated both Boeing 737 and Airbus A330 aircraft. Seat layouts, cabin space and onboard service can therefore differ between flights.
Allow Connection Time
SereneAir is not part of a global alliance, so separate-ticket connections may not be protected. Leave a generous buffer when connecting to another airline.
Arrive Early
Allow extra time for document checks on international services, especially flights to Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates. Check-in deadlines may differ from those for domestic flights.
