About Royal Air Maroc
Founded in 1957, Royal Air Maroc is Morocco's flag carrier and a government-owned scheduled airline. It operates under the AT airline code and uses a red-and-green visual identity derived from the national flag. Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport is the airline's principal hub and the main transfer point for its international services. Its own loyalty programme, Safar Flyer, allows members to collect miles from Royal Air Maroc flights and qualifying partners, then redeem them for rewards subject to programme rules and availability.

Worst Experience
I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Royal Air Maroc at Washington Dulles airport. My husband, child, and I needed assistance, but the airline staff failed to provide any meaningful help. Initially, they claimed we didn't have tickets, but later… See more found our reservation. However, they couldn't locate my husband's ticket and instructed us to contact customer service. I promptly called customer service, and they assured me that my ticket had been processed and I had 15 minutes to check in at the counter. Despite being at the ticket counter and explaining my situation, the staff didn't listen to me, closed up, and left. As someone who is legally blind, I found their behavior to be incredibly rude and insensitive. To add insult to injury, when I contacted Royal Air Maroc for a refund, they unjustly claimed it was a no-show situation. They directed me to fill out a complaint and refund form, which I promptly did on June 9. However, despite my numerous attempts to call them from June 9 until June 23, I have received no response whatsoever. This entire experience has been the worst I have ever encountered. The lack of assistance, the dismissive attitude, and the subsequent lack of response regarding my refund have left me deeply disappointed with Royal Air Maroc.

Worst company ever
They removed me from the flight without notice at 3 am. They charged me an extra 750$ to get my tickets back. When I tried to get a reimbursment, they told me they had no complaint service. Worst company I have ever seen, do NOT fly with them.

Worst Airline Ever
My mom and I used this airline to get to and from Spain. On our way home they lost our luggage. Luckily we have air tags and know that they are at the airport in Casablanca. We landed at home in the US and there was not a single Royal air maroc employee in the… See more airport in order to make our claim (we looked everywhere we could). We used the website to try to make a claim but we needed our claim number. We tried calling for 4 hours to get a claim number. Every person said we must return to the airport when there was a departing flight. So we drove the 4 hours to the airport. Asked the ticketing people and we’re told to wait for a specific person. They called him a few time and he never showed. Over 2.5 hours of waiting.. nothing. They closed the counter and left l, said he’d be right there. 30 more minutes… still no one. We left. Tried calling again to explain the situation. “We can’t do that over the phone, you have to go to the airport” is what we keep hearing. How the hell do we get our luggage back!!!!

Terrible
We flew round trip from Miami to Malaga Spain. Both ways we had layovers in Casablanca. The way to Spain it was 5 hours. The way home it was an overnight layover. I read that they would give a free room for overnight layovers, but I couldn’t find anyone to… See more contact to arrange for that. Then, our flight home was further delayed by an additional five hours which Connors back to Miami at 2 o’clock in the morning! Our luggage was not at baggage claim. Airport security told us to talk to the Royal air. Maroc representative, who was supposed to be at the carousel, but there was no one to be found. So, we tried going to the ticket area to find anybody from Royal air Maroc, but at 2 o’clock in the morning there was, no one. As of this writing, I have put in a ticket for our luggage and also to see if they would compensate us for the extended delay. It is very difficult to figure out how and whom to contact anyone and finally had to try doing a form, which said would give me an automatic reply to my email when it was complete. That was an hour and a half ago and I have no automatic response and no way of knowing if they’ve received my ticket or how to follow up on it. There website says to arrive three hours early for an international flight and another place on the confirmation, said four hours early, but no one shows up until two hours early for any of them. On our final leg, my daughters video screen was non-functional to boot. The food was decent. That’s the only positive. We will never fly with them again.
