Expensive flight, reservation mishandled by airline, no baggage transfer
Expensive one-way flight from Livingstone to Mfuwe via Lusaka. Two days before the flight I got an email that the second leg was delayed by two hours. When I checked my reservation, the first segment (Livingstone-Lusaka) had disappeared! I contacted Proflight… See more via Whatsapp and they apologized and rebooked the flight, but it took more Whatsapp messages before I was finally able to check in. I never got an explanation as to what happened - apparently human error. The second segment (Lusaka-Mfuwe) was then changed back to the original schedule. The Livingstone-Lusaka flight was late but there were no updates or announcements (or even monitors). Bags are not automatically transferred to connecting flights. Upon arrival in Lusaka, I had to collect my checked luggage and walk to the domestic terminal, go through security (with all my luggage) and then recheck it (for unclear reasons the check-in counters are located after security). Only then I discovered that there were no restrooms, eateries or any facilities. The Lusaka-Mfuwe flight was on time (actually early). Both aircraft were small (29- and 9-seater respectively), so the in-flight experience was what one can expect.

Nice short flight
I always love flying with Proflight as they are very affordable and you are able to get around Zambia faster than going by road. I have used them to fly to Ndola and on this trip to fly to mfuwe from Lusaka. I want to mention that Penji our Air Steward made… See more the effort to greet everyone in their native language. Which I thought was a great touch. He had amazing customer service and was funny.

Great flight friendly and professional staff members
