About Link Airways
Link Airways is an Australian-owned regional carrier operated by Corporate Air, an aviation company established in 1972. The scheduled passenger business began flying under the Fly Corporate name in 2016 and adopted the Link Airways identity in 2020. It focuses on routes where turboprop aircraft are better matched to demand than larger mainline jets, while Corporate Air also undertakes charter and aviation-support work.
Brisbane is the principal anchor of Link Airways’ scheduled network, with Canberra and Melbourne also serving as important operating points. Its routes connect these gateways with regional centres across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory. Destinations include Bundaberg, Biloela, Narrabri, Inverell, Armidale, Tamworth, Dubbo, Orange, Coffs Harbour and Newcastle, alongside interstate services such as Canberra–Hobart.
The passenger fleet consists primarily of Saab 340B Plus and Fairchild Metro 23 turboprops. The Saab carries 34 passengers and handles most scheduled services, while the smaller 19-seat Metro is suited to thinner regional markets. Flights use a single economy-class cabin without separate business or premium-economy sections. Service is deliberately straightforward, reflecting the relatively short sectors and limited space aboard regional aircraft.
Link Airways is not a member of Star Alliance, SkyTeam or Oneworld. It partners with Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer programme, allowing members to earn Velocity Points on eligible Link Airways fares. However, Link-operated flights generally do not earn Velocity Status Credits or tier bonuses, and the partnership should not be assumed to provide the full range of benefits available when travelling on a Virgin Australia-operated flight.
A genuine strength of Link Airways is its network of direct regional connections, which can remove the need to backtrack through a large capital-city airport. Its small turboprops also allow it to serve communities that cannot support frequent jet operations. The trade-off is a more compact cabin, less overhead storage and greater exposure to operational disruption when weather, maintenance or low-frequency schedules affect an aircraft rotation. Travellers with onward plans should therefore allow a sensible connection buffer.

Compact Turboprop Cabins
Most scheduled flights use Saab 340 aircraft with a single economy cabin. Expect less personal and overhead-storage space than on a mainline jet.
Cabin Bag Limits
Cabin baggage is generally limited to one small item weighing up to 7 kg. Space restrictions or operating conditions may require larger items to be placed in the hold.
Fare-Based Baggage

Loved the old fashioned service with a smile
From the lady onboarding me at the airline remembering my name to getting back home and having a chat with the guy in front who was flying for his first time , the whole atmosphere was happy relaxed and friendly. The ease of check in the lovely hostess who I… See more got both times always smiling and professional the complimentary drinks and snacks (not having to rummage for change or a card is so good ) and the final touch of a lolly for landing was perfect. Excellent service
Excellent service, friendly staff that love their job, plane from Tamworth to Brisbane was very small and little dirty , but very nice staff..the pilots were the staff, once in the air there is no customer service. Pickup some food and water on the way to your… See more seat. Also pretty noisy. But so pleased I got to Brisbane for a pretty good price. From Brisbane to Tamworth the plane was a bit bigger and also had staff to help throughout the flight and was a lot cleaner. Bring your own entertainment if needed. Got food and drink and well looked after throughout the second flight. Anyway thankyou for getting me to QLD to see my sister.

Calm, convenient and comfortable
Easy everything, from purchasing the ticket online, online checking, helpful staff, good food service and comfortable flight. But best of all, direct flight to Hobart from Canberra under 2 hours. Highly recommend!!

I have flown a few times to NTL/CBR and return via Link. Other that an issue with getting the checkin started at Newcastle (there is always a comms issue) the staff are helpfull and friendly, the flight smooth and uneventful. A good, reliable service. Great service
Flight left on time and made the horrendous nearly 6 hr car journey from Canberra to Newcastle and absolute pleasure. In the air for only 45 mins. The flight attendant was so friendly. Great Flight
Travelled to visit family in Dubbo and from making the booking to the friendly flight crew this airline was wonderful. The hostess Katherine was on both flights and was warm and friendly and it was easy to tell she enjoyed her job and she showed a true genuine… See more interest in the passengers.
