Cramped terribly rude abusive staff
Avoid this airline at all cost, the smallest seats ive ever seen, no infight entertainment, nothing no drinks, not even a blanket or pillow.. have to beg for water.. will never fly this airline again

Great customer service
Was travelling with a toddler and accidentally left a jacket on the plane. Couldnt get through the phone line due to language barrier only korean… Wrote via email to notify them that i have left something and they seamlessly arranged for me to collect it… See more during check in on my return flight. Kudos and thanks to the team :)

Incredible Customer Service in Seoul - Fantastic Flight
We flew Jin Air in 2017 from Seoul to Osaka and had never heard of this airline when booking. The price was lower than anything we had seen so we figured why not and booked it. Anyway, after a short stay in Seoul, we got on the train to ICN and seriously… See more underestimated how long it took to get to the airport from the city and arrived at the check-in counter about 20 minutes before our flight was supposed to depart – normally at any other airport in any other part of the world, this would have meant that we missed our flight. But upon arriving, sweating and short of breath from running to the check-in counter, they still let us check in!!! We were also upgraded to one of the seats in the front (without asking for it) of the plane and got personally escorted through security and walked to the gate by the kindest agent we have ever encountered. When we arrived at the gate, we noticed that they were still boarding and there was a small line when we arrived. We got on the plane and the massive 777 we were on was pretty empty and noticed that we were 2 of the 3 people seated in the front of the plane. It felt like we were flying private and it was wonderful. Sooner than we knew it, we were taking off and it was a short but comfortable flight to Osaka. While it was absolutely our fault that we were late (and we were very apologetic), we were incredibly impressed by their customer service and kindness. If I ever have the chance to fly Jin Air again, we absolutely will.

PI trip 2/11-2/19/2020
Jin Air is a low-cost carrier, so I didn't expect too much. Since I purchased my ticket through Korean Air, I wasn't able to use their on-line check-in, had to do it the old fashioned way through the check-in counter. Going from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 at ICN… See more was a hassle, had to go through Immigration and Customs to catch a shuttle bus (found out later I could have taken a more-direct shuttle train). Jin Air has automated kiosks, but when I tried using one, it rejected me and I had to go check-in at the desk. Once at the gate, boarding was by the usual chaotic method, so if you're one of the last ones on, good luck on finding any bin space for your carry-on. Once at my seat, legroom was as expected for a low-cost carrier, but the seat was comfortable enough. No in-flight entertainment. The FAs were pleasant and efficient, always smiling. The aircraft and lavatories were tidy and well-maintained. Food was nothing to speak-of, but is edible.

Fun airline!
Crew were extremely kind and attentive throughout. The safety/emergency instructions booklet were illustrated with humorous comics making you actually enjoy reading them! Also, most budget airlines on a short flight offer nothing - sometimes you even pay for… See more water. Jin Air will give you a small cup of tea if you ask for it~
