Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful.
We were originally booked on Israir's late evening flight from DXB to TLV, in order to enjoy another day in the city. The evening prior to our flight, we logged in to check in for the flight and were horrified to learn the flight had been cancelled. We… See more received no notification from the airline regarding this, and they just automatically rebooked us on the early morning flight back home. It's a good thing we checked, as otherwise, we'd been stranded there. The flight itself was chaotic, with a very unprofessional crew (and some nasty passengers to match). Everything (including water) is chargeable. There was no entertainment, of course. Never again.

Worst company ever.
Never ever ever on time. With them it's always delayed or they will lose your language and won't respond until you take to court. 5 out 5 times that I flew with them they missed up, never showed any care. For your own sake, don't fly with them.

2nd of 2 flights also delayed
So this is my second review of this airline as it’s my return trip to Tel Aviv. Again, the flight is delayed an hour. There’s no explanation. There was no advance warning. 3 hours out it was listed as on time. So we are at this tiny airport with two hours to… See more wait instead of one. The other important issue for travelers is that other than the sales platform no communications are in English. Everything is in Hebrew. We had to have help from a friend and then from a hotel concierge to check into our flights. There was absolutely no translated platform or English language option for anything other than sales. So I absolutely do not recommend this airline. Arkia is a much better option. It has 64 flights daily and Israir has two. Arkia flights are on time. Had I known that I would’ve flown with Arkia. At least the view from the airport in Eilat is gorgeous. We are right on the border with Jordan and you can see the mountains. And this tiny airport in a lot is brand new and quite clean. So it could be a lot worse.

Do not fly with Israir
I booked israir over Ackria because of the scheduling. And then week before our trip which was booked two months out. Israir canceled our early morning flight and put us on a late morning flight. when we got to the airport. Cheap flight that cost like regular flight

Beware of web site and hand luggage weight
1. The English web site is absolutely hopeless, missing most features. Instead use the Israeli/Hebrew web site, and use Google Chrome ro translate 2. On the return from Sharm El Sheikh to Tel Aviv (but interestingly not on the outbound flight), the check in… See more staff forced us to weigh our carry on bags. They charged us$30 per kilo or part thereof for anything over rhe 8kg limit. Since we had no checked bags, this resulted in us having to wear multiple layers of clothes, and putting heavier stuff in our pockets. Be warned. Otherwise it was exactly as you would expect from a budget airline.
