About Envoy Air
Envoy Air is a United States regional airline headquartered in Irving, Texas, and wholly owned by American Airlines Group. The company was formed in 1998 as American Eagle Airlines through the consolidation of several regional operators, although its corporate roots extend further back. It adopted the Envoy Air name in 2014, while its passenger flights continued to use the American Eagle brand, livery and customer-facing identity.
The airline’s principal operating bases are Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Miami International Airport.
