About CM Airlines
CM Airlines is a privately owned Honduran carrier whose initials refer to Cielo Maya. Established in 2007, it began commercial operations in August 2008 with a Tegucigalpa–Puerto Lempira service, initially using one aircraft and a small workforce. The airline operates as CM Airlines, S. de R.L.; the unrelated I-Fly name and Russian website sometimes associated with its codes do not describe the Honduran carrier.
The airline’s primary base is Toncontín International Airport in Tegucigalpa. Its network is focused on domestic links to San Pedro Sula, La Ceiba, Roatán, Utila, Guanaja and Puerto Lempira, serving communities for which flying can be substantially faster than travelling overland or by sea. Its published network also includes selected international connections within Central America, including Guatemala City, San Salvador and Belize City.
CM Airlines operates regional turboprop aircraft suited to short sectors and airports with modest traffic volumes. Its published fleet families include the Saab 340B, ATR 72-500 and Embraer EMB 110 Bandeirante, providing different capacities for thinner island services and busier trunk routes. Flights generally use a single economy-style cabin, so travellers should expect a straightforward regional product rather than separate premium cabins or long-haul amenities.
CM Airlines is not a member of Star Alliance, SkyTeam or Oneworld. It operates its own frequent-flyer programme, StarMiles, through which members can earn credit when travelling with the airline and redeem accumulated miles subject to programme rules and availability. The absence of a global-alliance affiliation means travellers should not assume that status benefits, lounge access or through-baggage privileges from major international programmes will apply.

They cancelled our flight at the. very last minute, almost a year later they haven't refunded my money
I booked a flight with this company on June 30, 2022 to travel on September 9. On August 23 I was notified with no further explanation that the flight had been cancelled. On September 9 I got a message asking me if I was going to take the flight, a moot point… See more since I had already made other arrangements. Starting September 1st I had started seeking reimbursement. I won't get into all the details, calls, messages, emails, suffice to say that as of today, April of 2023, they have not replied with a concrete answer nor have they refunded my money. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but as a last resort, I just called my bank and filed a claim to have the funds reimbursed. Very unprofessional and unreliable. If you are planning to travel between Roatan and Utila, use the ferry instead!

Tiny private plane, no safety measures
The plane was tiny, no air hostess, no air conditioner, no explanation of safety measures (not even seatbelt fastening). It didn't seem a commercial plane. Never flying with this airline again, and that's what we paid for.

Good Option with Excelent Rates
Is a very good local airline with excellent rates with the best options of hours. I recommend this airline to move specially form San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa to the Bay Islands.

Great airline
Had doubts about CM prior to my first trip. Awesome airline and experience. Safety is a priority and the pilots are well-trained and they have a sophisticated, professional ground crew. Aircraft while not new, are well maintained and provide a pleasant flight… See more experience. The cost between TGU <> RTB is very affordable and flight are both ends were not only on time, but arrived early. Checkin is a breeze and there's open seating. Highly recommend CM Airlines.

A short hop between the Bay Islands in Honduras
A small airplane ride of about 20 minutes to Utila, Honduras. The plane was small but well maintained. It was a twin prop 20 passenger plane. We flew the same type of planes in Fiji. CM's planes were better maintained. The flight was uneventful, exactly what… See more you want on a island hop. I had no concerns on the flight to Utila or the flight back to Roatan 7 days later. Reasonable priced flight.

Dated Plane & Slow Check In
This plane seemed very outdated. The seats were horrible, leaning every which direction. There was no air circulation or fans. It's do able because of the short flight. Last year Avianca had this route & we would rate it like first class, compared to these CM… See more flights this year.
