About Air Do
Air Do was founded in 1996 as Hokkaido International Airlines and began scheduled operations in 1998. The carrier adopted AIRDO as its corporate name in 2012 after already using the name commercially. It was created to provide competition and more travel options between Hokkaido and Tokyo. Since 2022, it has operated under RegionalPlus Wings, a joint holding company formed with Japanese regional carrier Solaseed Air.
Sapporo is Air Do's busiest departure hub, followed by Tokyo, while Asahikawa, Fukushima and Hakodate are also important points in its operation. The airline serves 11 destinations across one country and operates 20 routes. Its domestic network includes Sapporo, Tokyo, Asahikawa, Fukushima, Hakodate, Komatsu, Memanbetsu, Niigata, Obihiro, Sendai and Toyama.
